About the RoleAs Head of Procurement and Sourcing, you will lead our global procurement strategy across logistics, warehousing, and product supply. Your primary responsibility will be to renegotiate and implement best-in-class contracts across our providers, distribution centers, and suppliers. You'll ensure all contracts are robust, compliant, and commercially sound while laying the foundations for scalable sourcing frameworks and procurement excellence. In addition, you'll play a key leadership role in New Product Development (NPD) by owning procurement and supplier engagement throughout the innovation cycle. From early-stage feasibility through to launch, you'll ensure new materials and products are sourced efficiently, aligned with commercial goals, and delivered to the highest quality standards. This is a senior, high-impact role. You'll work cross-functionally with operations, product development, technical, quality and regulatory teams to embed procurement best practices that support rapid growth, compliance, and resilience across our global supply chain.
Responsibilities- Lead contract (re)negotiations and implementation across all logistics providers, 3PLs, Distribution Centers, and product suppliers
- Ensure all procurement and logistics agreements are commercially sound, legally compliant, and future-ready
- Develop and embed best-in-class procurement processes, policies, and systems across the business
- Own procurement support for New Product Development, from sourcing strategy and supplier onboarding to cost modeling and launch readiness
- Identify and engage strategic suppliers capable of supporting innovative product initiatives
- Drive cost efficiencies, risk mitigation strategies, and long-term supplier partnerships
- Monitor and manage supplier performance, KPIs, and SLA adherence
- Ensure all supplier and logistics contracts align with regulatory standards (including FDA compliance where applicable)
- Collaborate closely cross functionally on finance budgeting, cost tracking, and payment terms
- Lead procurement input into S&OP planning, inventory forecasting, and expansion initiatives
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident Based in Sydney with the ability to work on-site five days per week
- 8+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or logistics contract management
- Proven success renegotiating and managing complex logistics and supplier agreements
- Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations and contract law
- Experience leading procurement for New Product Development or innovation pipelines
- Familiarity with cost modeling, lead-time management, and supplier risk assessment for new launches
- Experience building scalable procurement processes and systems in a high-growth environment
- High attention to detail, with strong negotiation and analytical skills
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with legal, product, finance, and executive leadership
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in wellness, consumer goods, or eCommerce industries preferred
