Employment Type: Permanent Full Time Position Classification: Nurse Unit Manager Level 1 Remuneration: $127,091.34 per annum Hours Per Week: 38 Location: Parramatta Community Health Centre Where you'll be working Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region.

What You'll Be Doing The Clinical Nursing Unit Manager (C/NUM) is responsible for the operational management of community nursing services and co-ordination of client care under their delegation in consultation with NUM and Nurse Manager.
The C/NUM Role Is To Lead, direct and coordinate client care.
Ensure the delivery of high quality client care that is safe and efficient.
Manage the unit effectively and within the budget allocation to ensure efficient use of resources.
Advance staff through professional development and enabling others.
Accept accountability and responsibility for their own actions.

Essential Criteria Registration: Current Registered Nurse division 1 Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Selection Criteria Relevant clinical management and leadership experience and/or qualifications or willingness to complete.
Demonstrated leadership and management skills and the ability to motivate, manage and develop nursing staff in a changing environment.
Demonstrated ability to negotiate resolutions and manage conflict.
Demonstrated excellent and effective interpersonal and organisational skills.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate clinical services and manage change.
Proven ability to create and maintain a positive workplace culture, articulate and achieve a vision for Community Nursing services.
Demonstrate ability to utilise information technology within a variety of applications and willingness to undertake training.
Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia and willingness to use for work purposes.
