The opportunity A leading UK law firm is looking to expand its independent healthcare team with the addition of a Corporate Solicitor.
The successful candidate will join a highly regarded national corporate practice known for advising clients throughout the business life cycle - from start-ups and scale-ups to well-established corporates.

The team This dedicated healthcare team forms part of a wider corporate department, comprising over 50 Fee Earners and 20 Partners many of whom are recommended in leading legal directories.
With significant sector expertise, the team supports a diverse client base including: Care home operators and domiciliary care providers Private GP and dental practices, opticians and pharmacies Allied healthcare professionals and clinics Medical device companies and healthcare staffing agencies The role You'll work closely with Partners and Senior Lawyers to deliver high-quality legal services to clients in the independent healthcare space.
Key responsibilities include: Advising on M&A transactions, joint ventures, disposals and restructures Drafting and negotiating corporate transaction documents Supporting regulatory compliance, corporate governance and risk management Collaborating with specialists in employment, real estate and litigation Building and managing client relationships with a commercial and proactive mindset Contributing to business development activity and thought leadership What we're looking for Qualified Solicitor (NQ-4 years' PQE)Strong grounding in corporate law, ideally with exposure to healthcare or other regulated sectors Exceptional drafting, communication and negotiation skills Client-focused, commercially minded and solutions-driven Comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team What's on offer This is a genuinely supportive and people-first environment with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:25-30 days' holiday plus bank holidays Private healthcare Pension scheme Performance bonuses and profit share schemes Agile/hybrid working policy Electric car scheme and subsidised gym membership Enhanced parental leave, CSR day, and long service awards Flexible working The firm offers a hybrid working model and welcomes applications from candidates seeking part-time, flexible, or agile working arrangements.
