Senior Civil Designer Opportunity

We have an opening for a Senior Civil Designer to join our Community Development team. The role involves working on projects delivering solutions in urban, land and subdivision projects within the Gold Coast and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will have experience in senior civil design, preferably using 12D software. They should be able to interpret civil design requirements of State Government, Local Government Authorities and private sector clients, as well as interface with associated disciplines such as transport, planning, survey, traffic, electrical and landscaping.

  • Preparing conceptual and detailed designs for land subdivisions, road infrastructure, drainage, sewer & water systems and associated infrastructure.
  • Interpreting civil design requirements of State Government, Local Government Authorities and private sector clients.
  • Collaborating with other disciplines such as transport, planning, survey, traffic, electrical and landscaping.
  • Communicating project needs to clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated senior civil designer experience in land, urban and subdivisions.
  • Relevant qualifications, ideally Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Proven experience using 12D software.
  • Familiarity with local authority and state government approval and regulatory requirements.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
