Nestlé Campbellfield, the home of Kit Kat, Smarties, Aero, Milky Bar and more, has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and hardworking Electrician to join our Maintenance team.
Your role will primarily focus on undertaking preventative electrical maintenance to optimise production and responding to breakdowns.
You will be responsible for, and have the ability to deliver in the following areas: Maintaining equipment and providing service to ensure efficient production line operation including responding to variable speed drives, servo motors and systems and robot programming and maintenance Supporting improvement projects that aim to reduce unplanned stoppages Coaching operators to improve their process knowledge and skills Reviewing, creating and modifying preventative maintenance plans for optimum line performance Maintain and improve OH&S and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards in the workplace To be successful in the role you will have: Possess a current A Grade Electrical license with at least four years post trade experience Excellent Allen Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting experience Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings Excellent trouble-shooting & Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) fault finding experience Good time management skills ability to work well under pressure Strong verbal and written communication skills Proactive cooperation and a demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment A willingness and ability to learn new processes The initiative and courage to speak out when correction is required At least two years' experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment is desirable We offer a 36 hour week, 9 days a fortnight working hours.
You may be requested to work overtime during the week and on weekends.
We have great facilities on site, including canteen service, and we supply tools and uniforms.
