The Role We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for an experienced hospital administrator to join our Inpatient Administration team in a part-time capacity.

As the first point of contact, you will play a vital role in creating a positive experience for patients and visitors.

You will manage admissions, pre-admissions, and billing processes while ensuring a smooth and supportive journey for those in our care.

Working at the heart of the Day Rehabilitation department within the Allied Health Team, you'll deliver professional, efficient, and customer-focused administrative support while helping maintain a welcoming environment for patients and their families.

Key Accountabilities Managing incoming and outgoing calls to the ward.

Provide timely and accurate information to queries by patients, visitors and other staff and departments.

Work alongside medical staff, colleagues, patients and visitors to ensure a smooth hospital experience for patients.

Compilation and management of patient admission papers and clinical notes.

Supporting patient comfort.

About You To succeed in this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service and enjoys being part of a busy ward.

You will also demonstrate: Computer literacy including Microsoft Office suite of programs.

Experience either in a medical administration setting or a patient-facing role.

Experience with Patient Management Systems will be highly regarded.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Comfortable working in and communication with a multidisciplinary team.

Desirable: Certificate in Medical Terminology.

Experience in hospital mainframes systems.
