We are currently looking for a Protection Engineer.
This role is expected to represent Jacobs as a technical leader in the field of HV Protection Electrical Engineering across Transmission and Distribution and supporting the growth of the Substation Engineering team.
Responsibilities include Protection design for distribution and transmission systems between 22k V and 500k VFollow Jacobs Q&A procedures, as well as technical bulletins Able to fulfil the role of a Lead Engineer for projects within defined packages and deliver on time and budget Interact sand support other disciplines (i.e.
Primary, secondary)Contribute to the preparation of proposals, including scope development, pricing, and at times leading the proposal coordination when appropriate Support and engage with customers in the region by providing technical support We value collaboration and believe that in-person interactions are crucial for both our culture and client delivery.

Here's what you'll need Qualifications An experienced engineer with well-established power transmission experience Proficient in development of Protection engineering deliverables such a, relay configuration files, setting reports, logic diagrams, signals list, as well as familiarity with secondary design Familiar with main manufacturer relay software, like Enervista, PCM600, Digsi Competency in Secondary and Protection design for Transmission and Distribution utilities with minor supervision Able to directly liaise with clients in a confident manner and lead meetings with clients for small projects Jacobs.
