Protect and control complex electrical systems, drive innovation, and exceed customer expectations as a Senior Application Engineer. This challenging role involves providing detailed design solutions for protection and control applications, collaborating with key suppliers to solve client hardware and software enquiries, and working closely with the sales team to communicate product benefits and differentiators to customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing protection and control systems that meet safety, quality, time, and budget requirements
  • Providing technical expertise and support to customers and internal teams on protection and control technologies and best practices
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions for customers
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure seamless delivery of products and services

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A recognized Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree
  • 3+ years of experience in power system consulting, vendor, or utilities
  • Detailed protection and control design experience
  • Genuine interest in managing and designing protection and control systems
  • Clear understanding of power system requirements and challenges
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
