Base pay range A$240,000.00 / yr - A$280,000.00 / yr Direct message the job poster from Thompson Cook The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global Saa S organisation as Interim Financial Controller during a key transitional phase.
Well-established and backed by global investors, the business is seeking an experienced and technically capable leader to provide stability and expertise across the finance function.
Reporting to the CFO and leading a geographically dispersed accounting team, this role will oversee day-to-day financial operations, ensure audit readiness (US GAAP), and optimise financial systems and controls across the business.
The Challenge Key responsibilities include : Leading and mentoring a high-performing remote finance team (AU, US, Asia)Overseeing the full financial control function – month-end close, reconciliations, compliance Driving Net Suite optimisation and process improvement Guiding audit preparation and supporting coordination with US-based advisors Supporting enterprise-level reporting in a ~$100 M revenue Saa S environment Partnering with strategic finance on cash flow forecasting Leading on ad hoc finance projects as required by the CFOThe Expertise The ideal candidate will have : CA / CPA qualification with significant relevant experience Experience in Saa S advantageous Strong leadership capability and comfort operating in remote-first environments A hands-on approach, willingness to get into the detail Note this role can be worked remotely as you'll manage a team across multiple locations.
