Job Description

An opportunity for a Financial Controller to join a complex manufacturing business

  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes to support business objectives.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
  • Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Supervise and support the finance team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Liaise with external auditors and stakeholders during financial audits.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities across the organisation.
  • Process improvement activities

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller should have :

A relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional certification (e.g., CPA or CA) is mandatorySolid experience in financial management within the industrial / manufacturing industry or a product / inventory related industryExperience within a chartered environment - audit, business services (ideal)Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in financial software and tools.Effective leadership and team management abilities.A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
