About the opportunity
We are seeking for a Payroll Specialist to join our Head Office Team, based in the Sydney CBD, with convenient access to public transport, including the light rail.
The Payroll Specialist is a part of the Finance team and is responsible for managing and administering Moran Health Care Group's (MHCG) payroll operations.

Key responsibilities:
Ensure accurate end-to-end processing of fortnightly payrolls.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, systems, and databases.
Ensure compliance with legislation and MHCG Policies, and Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA).
Provide high level of customer service when addressing employee payroll queries.
Processing new hires, transfers and terminations
Support PAYG, Superannuation, payroll tax & payroll reporting.
Assist with maintenance of the payroll system.
Prepare and process termination payments, workers' compensation payments.
Prepare and process fortnightly and monthly reports.
Perform ad hoc payroll tasks and respond to related queries
Skills/Requirements:
Qualification in Payroll, Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent or equivalent relevant experience
Minimum of three years' experience in a similar role
Previous experience in Health or Aged Care is highly desirable.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ownership of your work.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft office Suite, including Excel.
Must have full working rights in Australia.
Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations.
