The Role
As a Field Engineer, you will provide technical (1st and 2nd level) IT support to internal employees via telephone, email, walk-ins, and remotely.
Key Responsibilities

Experience with desktop support, server support, hardware, network, and software installation and troubleshooting.
O365 experience is essential.
Software and hardware diagnostic skills and building/upgrading PCs.
Active Directory (users, mailbox management), Operating system support (Windows 10 & 7, Linux, and other OS).
Prior experience in hardware break and fix, installation, desk-side software support, and service desk support.
Limited-Service Desk experience (1 year) in IT Service Desk, Help Desk, IT Support Analyst, or Technical Support roles.
Support for hardware such as laptops, desktops, and monitors.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in a technical support environment performing fault investigation, triaging, and resolution.
Experience with desktop support, server support, hardware, network, and software troubleshooting.
Essential O365 experience due to environment requirements.
Supporting a corporate Windows and Linux environment.
Supporting physical and virtual environments (desktops and servers).
Active Directory management (users, mailboxes).
Operating system support (Windows 10 & 7, Linux, others).
Support for Office 365, Outlook, Exchange, and other critical business applications.
Printing support (installation, deployment, configuration, disposal).
Complex software installation and troubleshooting.
Network troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, root cause analysis.
Hardware diagnostic skills and experience building/upgrading PCs.
