We are looking for a customer-focused insurance professional to join our Hobart workers compensation claims team as a Claims Advisor.
This exciting opportunity involves managing a portfolio of workers compensation claims, ensuring our injured customers are well supported and receive the appropriate treatment and rehabilitation.
You will be responsible for processing claims efficiently and effectively, with strong communication skills to provide key stakeholders with necessary information related to claims management.
In this role, you will determine entitlements, analyze medical and rehabilitation data, assess claim value, and explore options to support positive outcomes for stakeholders.

What you'll do : Build strong relationships with claimants, employers, brokers, and treatment providers.
Manage claims proactively using best practice strategies.
Review medical, financial, and rehabilitation reports for accurate claim assessment.
Ensure activities are completed within legislative and regulatory timeframes.
Communicate with stakeholders via phone, correspondence, meetings, and hearings.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders for proactive claims management.
What you'll bring : Strong customer support experience.
Ability to engage, collaborate, and work well within a team to achieve excellent customer outcomes.
Business acumen, including data analysis and opportunity identification.
Stakeholder management skills to handle expectations and needs of multiple parties.
Desirable but not essential: Certificate IV or Diploma in Personal Injury Management, or a degree in Business, Law, Commerce, or related fields.
