We are looking for a
Contracts Administrator
to join our
Delivery Phase Services (DPS)
team. The main purpose of this role is to provide consistent and reliable contract support to GHD's clients, contributing to positive outcomes and alignment with project goals. This is a full time, permanent staff position and can be based in any of our offices on the east coast of Australia.
Responsibilities
Providing contractual support across all phases of the project
Administering contracts (including contractor, OEMs and consultancy) on behalf of GHD's clients
Preparing and maintaining contract documentation in line with procedures, drafting contract notices and letters
Administering contract obligations
Assisting with contract changes and updates, including assessing and formulating claim responses in collaboration with project teams
Supporting the payment claim process
Keeping clear and well-organised contract records, via contract management system
Helping to identify potential risks and recommending practical responses
Offering guidance on contract requirements and compliance
Participating and contributing to project meetings and workshops
Collaborating with other project teams and broader stakeholders
Helping develop contracts and procurement strategies and plans
Supporting project teams in delivering on our contractual commitments to clients
What you will bring to the team
Experience as a contract administrator, experience administering contracts on behalf of a client preferred
Preferred background in energy, mining, construction, or related sectors
Experience with contracts and major supply manufacture equipment contracts is advantageous
Ideally (up to) 8 years of relevant experience
Ability to manage multiple tasks and organise work effectively
Comfortable working across different client systems and adaptable to new ways of working
A solutions-focused mindset, open to new approaches
Excellent clear communication skills
A team player who enjoys contributing to shared goals
