About the role
As one of a team of Workshop Mechanics, you will be
responsible for the service and maintenance of Manningham City Councils fleet
of vehicles and plant.
Working in a well-equipped workshop, you will perform a
variety of tasks, which ensures that the fleet is ready to serve our community.
Duties include:

Undertake repair, maintenance, and servicing of vehicles.
Perform diagnostics and resolve mechanical problems.
Preventive maintenance including inspection, tyre rotation, oil
changes.
Maintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the workshop.
Keeping detailed records of each job including all parts and
materials

Must have relevant trade certificate and be fully
qualified.
Skills and experience

A trade qualification as a mechanic
Experience with servicing late model vehicles, trucks and machinery
Experience working with hydraulics preferred
Current Victorian driver's license (truck license preferred)
Current Forklift licence
