Due to sustained growth, we are currently seeking applications for an Apprentice Diesel Mechanic to join our workshop team.

THE ROLE

This is a permanent fulltime role that suits an individual who thrives in a varied and challenging environment.

This role is responsible for:

  • Assisting trades with specialised maintenance and repairs on a range of specialised plant and vehicles to manufacturers requirements.
  • Document maintenance activities and keep necessary records in accordance with company procedures.
  • Assist with steel fabrication and repair work.
  • Assisting trades in the workshop with various tasks as required.
  • Working and completing tasks safely as part of the workshop team.
  • Other duties as directed by Workshop Manager and Workshop Foreman.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience / Interest in maintenance, mechanical or similar industry.
  • Enthusiasm, positivity and willingness to learn.
  • Forklift licence (preferred - but not essential)
  • Current manual drivers licence (preferred - but not essential)
