About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Motor Mechanic to join our team at in North Melbourne. As a Motor Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring they are safe and functional for our customers. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to contribute to the success of our well-established automotive services business.

What you'll be doing

  • Diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical issues in vehicles, including engine, transmission, suspension
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as services, oil changes, brake inspections
  • Test and inspect vehicles to identify and address any problems or concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of all work completed and parts used
  • Ensure the workshop is kept clean and organised

What we're looking for

  • Formal qualification in Automotive Mechanics or a relevant trade certificate
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Motor Mechanic, preferably in a similar automotive workshop environment
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex vehicle issues
  • RWC certified is a bonus and will be negotiable in salary
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
