Ventair Pty Ltd is a specialist supplier of ventilation products, 3-in-1 bathroom heaters, ceiling fans, and energy-saving solutions.
We're a well-established company servicing the electrical wholesale industry, and we're currently offering a full-time position for a Business Development Manager.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, this role will be responsible for managing and growing our customer base across Northern QLD.
We're on the lookout for a driven and dynamic individual who's ready to take ownership of the territory, build strong relationships, and help us continue to grow.

The Role:

Achieve sales targets and further grow the territory to help meet business objectives.
Identify and convert sales leads into new business opportunities.
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Establish and maintain an active call-planning program for Electrical Contractors, Electrical Wholesalers and Retailers.
Conduct research to identify target markets and customer needs.
Collaborate with all areas of the business to share your insights for the field on target markets and competitors
Identify decision makers in relation to specification, purchasing and promotion of products.
Create a strong awareness of Ventair products.
Maintain an accurate customer database of the market, including Wholesalers, Resellers, Contractors, Builders and Architects
A background in HVAC, electrical industry or specialist ventilation would be an advantage but is not essential.

To be successful you will need:

Previous B2 B business development experience.
The ability to build rapport quickly with customers at all levels and coherently understand the needs of the businesses you are selling to.
Excellent communication, listening, influencing, presentation and time management skills.
Current driver's licence required.
