Human Resources Coordinator Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive work environment while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment process, including advertising job vacancies, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
  • Evaluate employment contracts and conditions to ensure alignment with industry standards.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant awards, such as the Nurses Award or SCHADS Awards.
  • Conduct regular staff appraisals and maintain performance records to ensure high standards of care and staff development.
  • Support new hires through onboarding and compliance processes.
  • Maintain the staff complaints and feedback register, addressing issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Provide HR support to staff regarding policies, procedures, and workplace conditions.
  • Oversee employee scheduling and ensure appropriate staffing levels.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, onboarding, and HR compliance.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, awards, and contract management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Prior experience in the healthcare industry is an asset.
