About the role:
We are on the lookout for our next Tolling Analyst/Technical Business Analyst who will work with various contractors to innovate and adopt new capabilities, including tools, technology, and processes. The role focuses on procuring and delivering the Roadside System, Back Office System, IT Infrastructure, and Cybersecurity solutions. It involves providing pragmatic analysis to successfully deliver, commission, and operate the Tolling System.
Responsibilities include capturing and analysing business topics and issues to support the procurement, delivery, and operation of the Tolling System. The position will evolve over time, requiring a flexible approach to work requirements and the adoption of new technologies and procedures, with training and support provided.
The role demands strong organisational skills, independent decision-making, and effective communication with subcontractors. The successful candidate will also fill the Testing Manager's role and have opportunities for future operations management.
Key Accountabilities
Analysis of Key Topics:
Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit and document issues.Conduct thorough analysis of key issues to ensure resolution.Articulate key business solution concerns into a plan of actions.Solution Compliance Management: Create clear and concise documentation, including policy translations into business rules, business glossary management, e2e specification matrices, compliance reporting, and business operations to technology solution alignment.Ensure that business solutions artefacts are well-organised, easy to understand, and accessible to all relevant parties.
Specifications Traceability: Maintain traceability between numerous specification artefacts and project evolution to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Documentation Management: Manage and organise solution document library, and other related documentation in a centralised repository.
Flow of Work: Identify inefficiencies and areas for flow of work improvement between project teams and contractors.Maintain flow of work documentation for reference and communication.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Collaborate with project leads to define end-to-end Test Strategies. Identify issues and gaps and resolve them.Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define test cases and validate that solutions meet requirements.Support operational readiness and user acceptance testing (UAT) by planning and coordinating with end users and addressing their feedback.
Project Management Support: Assist project managers in defining project scope, objectives, and timelines.Monitor project progress and communicate potential risks or delays to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and provide recommendations for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to Tolling and IT project delivery.
Key Selection Criteria
Technical or Specialist Knowledge:
Extensive Tolling and IT analysis knowledge and experience.Proven ability in the application of systems engineering practices and processes on complex and integrated technology-based solutions.Proven ability to plan and execute test plans, operational readiness, and user acceptance programs.Confidence and experience in facilitating workshops and online (remote) collaboration.Proficient in the use of computer systems and complex diagnostic tools including the use of MS O365 products, Adobe Acrobat, Atlassian JIRA and Confluence and other tooling support (e.g., MS Project).
