We are hiring a Senior Finance Analyst to join our team at Toll Group in St Kilda. This permanent, full-time position offers hybrid working flexibility, with the opportunity to work from home two days a week. Reporting to our innovative Head of Operational Excellence & R2R, you\u2019ll play a key role in providing essential support to Toll Group businesses, focusing on complex accounting issues and facilitating informed decision-making.

A day in the life of a Senior Finance Analyst at Toll Group:

* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by supporting enhancements in financial reporting and assisting with month-end accounting.
* Manage Profit and Loss discussions, providing commentary to business unit managers.
* Analyze actual vs budget/forecast variances, offering effective commentary.
* Oversee monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, resolving issues promptly.
* Contribute to Board and Corporate Reporting, coordinating with team members.
* Lead and mentor direct reports and our offshore team through regular coaching and guidance.
* Identify cost control opportunities, implementing expense reduction measures.
* Drive strategic thinking and lead finance projects to enhance organizational growth and efficiency.

What You\u2019ll Need to Succeed:

* Demonstrated experience in a similar role (finance / accounting).
* Strong problem-solving abilities.
* Proactive approach and a can-do attitude in tackling challenges and achieving team goals
* Financial analysis and strategy planning expertise.
* Employ meticulous attention to detail and a data-driven approach to ensure accuracy and informed decision-making.
* Ability to lead and coach a small team.
