The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Toll Holdings Limited in Australia. This permanent, full-time position offers hybrid working flexibility, with the opportunity to work from home two days a week. Reporting to our innovative Head of Operational Excellence & R2R, you will play a key role in providing essential support to our businesses, focusing on complex accounting issues and facilitating informed decision-making. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, managing Profit and Loss discussions, analyzing actual vs budget/forecast variances, and overseeing monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations. You will also lead and mentor direct reports and our offshore team through regular coaching and guidance. Additionally, you will identify cost control opportunities and implement expense reduction measures to enhance organizational growth and efficiency.

A Day in the Life of a Senior Financial Analyst at Toll Holdings Limited:

  1. Contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies and plans to drive business growth and profitability.
  2. Manage and analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide recommendations to senior management.
  3. Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business decision-making.
  4. Lead and participate in cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  5. Provide financial guidance and support to business units, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including vendors and partners.
