Randstad is partnering with a state government body to seek a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer (APO). The APO will provide critical financial and administrative support, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of the Accounts Payable/Purchase Order function. This role is vital for maintaining high standards of financial and administrative operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver financial administrative services, including creating purchase agreement records in Oracle iCloud, raising purchase orders, and processing invoices for payment.Provide procurement administrative support, ensuring compliance with the Department's Procurement Standards and accuracy of supporting documentation.Assist in regular monthly management reporting, year-end reporting, audit requirements, and financial analysis to inform management decision-making.Maintain compliance and accuracy of records in the contract management and financial management systems.Offer advice on administrative issues and proactively contribute to continuous improvements in work methods, techniques, and practices.Foster cultural safety by creating environments, relationships, and systems free from racism and discrimination, ensuring all individuals feel safe, valued, and able to participate.Provide business support to the Director of the Office of the CEO as required.
