An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Human Resources Administrator to join a dynamic team in Brisbane. This role offers the chance to provide quality, proactive and timely customer support for teacher talent acquisition activities. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop and maintain collaborative relationships across the recruitment team, ensuring consistency of approach and quality of recruitment processes.

What you'll do:

As a Human Resources Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting teacher talent acquisition activities. You will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with Teacher Recruitment Officers and supporting Teacher Recruitment Specialists in ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, procedures and practices. Your ability to identify opportunities for enhancements will be crucial in contributing to the continuous improvement of teacher recruitment processes. Additionally, your role will involve maintaining computer systems to update vacancy and candidate progress records, monitoring recruitment requisitions for any potential issues, and extracting valuable recruitment data when required.

  • Provide quality, proactive and timely customer support for teacher talent acquisition activities
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Teacher Recruitment Officers across the recruitment team
  • Support Teacher Recruitment Specialists to ensure compliance with applicable recruitment legislation, policy, procedures and practices
  • Contribute to opportunities for continuous improvement of teacher recruitment processes
  • Maintain relevant computer systems to update vacancy and candidate progress records
  • Monitor recruitment requisitions for delays or blockages
  • Extract recruitment data from relevant systems when requested, providing insights where possible

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Human Resources Administrator role brings a wealth of experience in either the recruitment industry or education sector. Your high-level communication skills will enable you to effectively liaise with various stakeholders, while your strong organisational skills will ensure that tasks are completed efficiently. Your ability to work independently as well as part of a team will be crucial in this role. Furthermore, your capability to quickly learn new systems such as Springboard and ServiceNow will be highly advantageous.

  • Previous experience in the recruitment industry or education sector would be well regarded
  • High level communication skills are essential
  • Strong organisation and prioritisation skills are required
  • Ability to work effectively with little supervision and as part of a team is necessary
  • Capability to rapidly acquire knowledge in talent acquisition (Springboard) and ticketing (ServiceNow) systems
