Randstad is currently partnered with a local Ballarat Client seeking an Administrator on a temporary assignment until the end of October. 38 hours per week.

Your new role

The Business Support Officers are responsible for delivery of high standard, best practice administrative and business support to operational teams and depots.
These positions report to the Team Leader, Business Support and operate as a wide team, working closely with Business Support Coordinators, Program Support Engineers, and Team Leaders.

Business Support Officers are accountable for administrative tasks including but not limited to:

Processing time sheets, overtime & TIL and allowancesLabour costing, invoicing and accounts payable administrationMaterials ordering, including uniforms and both general office and operational suppliesPurchase OrdersLocal Facilities and Fleet Administration, including log book administrationOffice Support and StationeryAccommodation and TravelGeneral administration support The Business Support Officers work with the Team Leader, Business Support, Business Support Coordinators and broader Business Support Network to help deliver strategic business improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with organisation's policies and procedures. Systems used: Oracle, Zycus, Outlook, Teams, Lotus Notes (Training for Lotus Notes can be arranged)

Role Specific Requirements:Driver's LicenseAbility and willingness to travel and work across locations within metropolitan and regional Victoria. Qualification: MandatoryAt least two years experience in a similar or comparable role, preferably in a government/public service context.DesirableA relevant Business or Administration certificate or diploma.
