Primary Purpose of the Role:
The Project Officer - ICT manages and supports projects to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
Key Accountabilities:
Provide project management and support services, including preparing briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining documentation, and monitoring project plans.Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting and evaluation.Communicate with stakeholders and coordinate working groups and consultations.Source and compile data to identify issues and track project progress.Conduct research and analysis to support decision-making and planning.Collaborate on post-implementation reviews and recommend solutions.Measure impacts of changes to ICT infrastructure and report on service delivery. Key Challenges: Partnering with multiple stakeholders to solve complex problems.Managing projects with tight deadlines, limited resources, and competing priorities.Coordinating ICT services in a dispersed environment where operations can delay deliverables. Role Dimensions: Decision Making: Operates independently in daily tasks, engaging with stakeholders and producing reports and recommendations.Referral: Escalates significant decisions, major issues, risks, and high-authority matters to the supervisor. Reporting Line:This role reports to the Project/Program Manager. Essential Requirements: Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant experience in ICT projects.Knowledge of AIIMS principles or willingness to obtain within 12 months. Additional Information:
