About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Officer to join our team at Transport for NSW. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of transport infrastructure across the South Region of NSW.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and assess development applications, ensuring compliance with NSW's planning and development objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including internal and external partners.
  • Provide sound advice and guidance to stakeholders on planning applications, ensuring accurate and timely information.
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy, reporting to a Team Leader and working collaboratively with the team.
  • Hold a full driving licence and be able to travel across the region when required.
Requirements
  • Experience in Transport Planning, Urban and Regional Planning, or Development Engineering.
  • High level problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work in a time-critical environment and assess transport impacts.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
