Development Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Officer to join our team at Transport for NSW. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of transport infrastructure across the South Region of NSW.
Key Responsibilities- Review and assess development applications, ensuring compliance with NSW's planning and development objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including internal and external partners.
- Provide sound advice and guidance to stakeholders on planning applications, ensuring accurate and timely information.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy, reporting to a Team Leader and working collaboratively with the team.
- Hold a full driving licence and be able to travel across the region when required.
- Experience in Transport Planning, Urban and Regional Planning, or Development Engineering.
- High level problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a time-critical environment and assess transport impacts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
