Supply Chain Customer Service Executive Tasks and Duties include:

  1. Order Management:
  2. Receive and process customer orders.
  3. Coordinate order fulfilment with internal teams and external suppliers.
  4. Ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders to customers.
  5. Address any issues or delays in order processing.
  6. Customer Communication:
  7. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding order status, product inquiries, and complaints.
  8. Communicate proactively with customers to provide updates on their orders and address any concerns.
  9. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  10. Inventory Management:
  11. Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate stock availability.
  12. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to manage inventory replenishment and stock transfers.
  13. Implement inventory control measures to minimise supply issues and excess inventory.
  14. Logistics Coordination:
  15. Coordinate transportation and shipping arrangements for outgoing orders.
  16. Track shipments and monitor delivery schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
  17. Resolve any issues related to transportation or logistics that may impact order delivery.
  18. Problem Resolution:
  19. Investigate and resolve customer complaints or issues related to order fulfilment, delivery, or product quality.
  20. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, operations, and quality assurance, to address customer concerns effectively.
  21. Implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues and improve customer satisfaction.
  22. Documentation and Reporting:
  23. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and transactions.
  24. Generate reports on key performance metrics such as order fulfilment rates, on-time delivery performance, and customer satisfaction scores.
  25. Analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement in supply chain operations.
  26. Process Improvement:
  27. Identify opportunities to streamline order management processes and improve operational efficiency.
  28. Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to optimise supply chain customer service operations.
  29. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  30. Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
  31. Utilise CRM software to manage customer accounts, track interactions, and maintain customer profiles.
  32. Leverage CRM data to personalise customer communication and anticipate customer needs.
  33. Identify up-sell or cross-sell opportunities to maximise customer value and revenue.
  34. Training and Development:
  35. Provide training and guidance to customer service representatives on supply chain processes and procedures.
  36. Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and best practices in supply chain management.
  37. Continuously develop skills and knowledge through professional development opportunities.
  38. Quality Assurance:
  39. Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations throughout the supply chain process.
  40. Conduct quality checks on incoming inventory and outgoing shipments to maintain product integrity.
  41. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any quality-related issues promptly.
  42. Strategic Planning:
  43. Contribute to strategic planning initiatives to optimise supply chain operations and enhance customer service capabilities.
  44. Provide input on supply chain strategies, initiatives, and goals based on customer feedback and market insights.
