AO5 $ $67.97 per hour plus superInitial 12 month contract opportunityNorth Brisbane location with flexiblility Our client is a Queensland Government department, responsible for the transport infrastructure across the State. In this position, you will provide guidance to oversee marina facilities in the northern Brisbane region. Your responsibilities include actively managing current agreements, negotiating new ones, and ensuring adherence to legal requirements and policies.

Responsibilities:

Manage berthing agreements, including establishing new agreements, waitlist management, vacating berth holders, and Accounts Receivable administration processes.Provide technical advice for budget preparation for planned and unplanned maintenance for services provided at the Facilities.Manage Accounts Payable administration processes for contracts for the Facilities including security, cleaning, fire protection, and landscaping.Implement marina industry standard processes, policies, and house rules to ensure adherence to Occupational Health and Safety standards, relevant insurance, licensing requirements, and legislative provisions.Ensure Facilities remain compliant and optimize occupancy.Provide strategic advice on agreements and reports as they relate to the Facilities including the Trawler Facility Policy.Offer support and technical advice relating to the broader leasing portfolio. Skills & Experience: Demonstrated experience preparing high-level correspondence and documentation on a range of issues relating to marina and facility managementAbility to manage effective relationships with internal and external stakeholdersAbility to maintain a high standard of practice through governance and risk management"C" Class Driver's LicenceMarina management experience will be highly regarded
It is expected that the successful candidate will possess strong oral/written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. They will display initiative, attention to detail, and have the ability to work autonomously and unsupervised whilst contributing to the wider team's objectives of ensuring service delivery exceeds expectations.
