What you will do as the Scrum Leader

  • Enable a high performing team, build capability in others by modelling positive behaviours, resolve conflict, facilitate career development and provide a professional and harmonious working environment, coaching and real time performance feedback for the team.
  • Develop and implement standards, tools, and requirements for the agile process.
  • Set priorities, maintain team cohesion, and ensure quality of output for the scrum teams.
  • Facilitate key agile ceremonies such as brainstorming, iteration planning & retrospective sessions, story writing & estimation sessions, daily stand ups etc.
  • Work with Product Owners to analyse business domain and capture problems to be solved.
  • Identify delivery risks and raise them with IMTS Management team proactively.
  • Contribute to the development of team objectives for short term tasks and strategic planning for longer-term initiatives.

About you

In order to succeed in the role, you will have:

  • demonstrated ability to lead a professional team. This includes building capability in a high performing team, mentoring and coaching a diverse range of people ensuring high retention rates.
  • applied experience in leading high performance, self-managed and dynamics teams as Scrum Leader.
  • excellent organisational and communication skills with a strong focus on building relationship with stakeholders.
  • an ability to perform with a high degree of autonomy, a collaborative style, an outcome driven attitude, and the demonstrated ability to deliver within timeframes to expectations.
  • a good understanding of software development principles.

Having the experience (or equivalent) of being a qualified Scrum Master will be highly regarded.
