Duties

The role of Consultant within People and Culture is responsible for supporting the delivery of a client focused service to all levels of management, employees and/or volunteers. You will bring to the role your relationship building skills; solution-based approach; and contemporary human resources practices.

Your day may comprise of a broad range of workforce management, planning, organisation change, recruitment and retention, and employee relations matters. Your sound knowledge and/or experience in a majority of these areas will be an asset to this role. You will have high-level interpersonal skills, integrity, and professionalism, and be open to expanding your knowledge and experience by staying abreast with best practices.

The position will work collaboratively both internally within People and Culture and with service arms within DPFEM.

Essential Requirements

Any relevant serious criminal offence or repeated serious offences over any period, which are not mitigated by additional information, may provide grounds for declining an application for appointment.   • Arson and fire setting;
  • Sexual offences;
  • Dishonesty (e.g. theft, burglary, breaking and entering, fraud);
  • Deception (e.g. obtaining an advantage by deception);
  • Making false declarations;
  • Violent crimes and crimes against the person;
  • Malicious damage and destruction to property
  • Trafficking of narcotic substance;
  • False alarm raising.
