This is a great opportunity to join our Corporate Quality Department in a dedicated Document Control position providing support across our project teams. You will enjoy a vibrant corporate environment with a team of likeminded professionals committed to the daily management of essential documentation through use of our proprietary Document Management System.

This is a full-time position located in a stylish corporate environment in Henderson WA.

The Role

  • Efficiently managing workflows for the receipt, classification, and distribution of all incoming and outgoing documentation in line with Civmec and client requirements, often in a fast-paced environment.
  • Coordinating documentation, drawings, transmittals, and engineering deliverables with clients, vendors, and subcontractors, ensuring timely and accurate processing under tight deadlines.
  • Ensuring document control activities are compliant with Civmec's policies, procedures, and processes while maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Providing guidance and advice to project teams and stakeholders on document control processes and compliance, especially during critical project phases.
  • Monitoring document changes and revisions, maintaining version control and traceability to support dynamic project needs.
  • Generating comprehensive reports on document status, distribution, and relevant metrics to inform project progress and decision-making.

About You

To make a successful application you should possess the following:

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller in an engineering, construction, mining, or related environment using established document control practices and protocols.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in document control systems and platforms such as Aconex, iPIMS, Sharepoint, SOP and Microsoft Suite
  • The ability to work collaboratively and efficiently in a fast paced environment.
