As Manager (People & Wellbeing), you will be responsible for leading a team of human resource (HR) and workplace health and safety (WHS) specialists delivering quality, customer-centric HR and WHS services and solutions for Policy, Planning and Investment (PPI) division.

You will support the Director (Business Services) in the delivery of the Units priorities, program of work and business outcomes

Accountabilities include:
- providing strategic and tactical workforce, employee relations and WHS business partnering services to PPI Division's senior managers to support business operations and enhance organisational effectiveness
- leading strategic and operational workforce and WHS planning for the division to maximise capability and enhance performance to achieve key business outcomes
- promoting a high standard of professional HR and WHS practice across the division by developing managers and employees, improving systems\processes and reporting
- managing and providing advice on complex and sensitive people management and WHS matters, including disciplinary matters, performance management, ill-health, complaints and investigations in collaboration with the Ethical Standards Unit, Crime and Corruption Commission and Corporate HR- building and maintaining strategic and productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders including senior HR and WHS contacts across TMR, other government agencies and private organisations
- providing leadership and support to enable successful transition and change management resulting from organisational realignment and development initiatives
- participating as an integral member of the Business Services Management Team, contributing to the management of business services for the division
- representing the division on corporate projects, and share and disseminate information as appropriate to ensure implementation and effective change management of project outcomes
- ensuring ongoing staff management and performance conversations, empower staff to improve, to demonstrate ownership and responsibility, to deliver on commitments and conduct themselves in line with public sector values and ethics principles
