The opportunity

We're looking for a new IT Administrator to provide first line technical assistance to our end-users.This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to tackling any problem that comes your way.Working in a small team, this position is a great opportunity to develop your career in a highly technical and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities:

Provide first-level support to end-users, responding to inquiries and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Assist users with hardware and software-related problems, researching and finding creative solutions if required.
  • Prioritise and manage support requests in a ticketing system, creating KB articles if appropriate.
  • Support end users, coordinating warranty repairs with vendors and maintaining asset registers.
  • Configure and manage portions of our infrastructure and networks.
  • Assist with DR systems, server maintenance and security.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of commercial and sensitive information.
  • Focus on workplace health and safety.
About you:

To excel in this role, you'll need the following:

  • Microsoft certifications or Tertiary IT qualifications.
  • Commitment to excellence, with an eye for detail.
  • A strong ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues because you have a knack for fixing anything.
  • Strong skill levels across general office apps & their use with general business processes.
  • Outstanding communication skills with an eagerness to help others.
  • Self-motivation with a strength in researching new issues and determining the most appropriate solution.
  • The ability to prioritize competing priorities and focussing to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated experience contributing effectively within a small team.
  • Flexibility, a willingness to adapt to change and a sense of humour.
  • Proven experience supporting Windows based users in a corporate environment is highly regarded.
