ABOUT THE JOB:

Working with our

Federal Government client, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to help deliver on the Australian Government's election commitment to replace the Community Development Program (CDP) with a new program with real jobs, proper wages and decent conditions.


For the right person, our work will be dynamic, political and very engaging, with plenty of opportunities to play an important part in shaping and understanding a program delivering critical services to Australians in the most remote parts of Australia.


THE SUCCESFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE ABLE TO:

  • Define project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage a project plan to schedule key project milestones
  • Track project and provide regular reports on project status
  • Manage and adjust for any changes in project scope
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks
  • Manage relationship and communication with stakeholders
  • Link projects to Strategic Business Objectives
  • Support Agency involvement in events associated with Remote Employment
  • Support the branch with program management priorities
  • Streamline and automate processes and workflows
  • Undertake any other tasks that support the development of remote employment policies and programs as directed by the Branch Manager and/or Senior Advisor
