HOURS:
Part-time (32 hours per week)

Carramar - Travel to other services as and when required

CLASSIFICATION:
Health Services Manager level 2

PURPOSE

Karitane is looking for a dynamic and dedicated Quality and Safety to improve safety and quality in our inpatient and outpatient parenting services.

If you are self-motivated to drive meaningful evaluation in clinical care that is compliant with National quality standards, then this is the role for you.

The Quality and Safety Manager is more than auditing.

This is an exciting and highly impactful opportunity to really to shape into your own and find opportunities to use your clinical experience to lead the implementation of safety, quality throughout the organisation for exceptional care standards across all services.


KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a health professional (or equivalent) with recent experience in governance, risk or quality management
  • Understanding of the National Safety & Quality Healthcare Service (NSQHS) Standards and experience with accreditation processes.
  • Understanding of quality improvement and patient safety investigation methodologies
  • Ability to interpret relevant legislation and policy to ensure compliance across local processes applicable to the Karitane context
  • High level analytical and problem-solving skills and an ability to work independently, and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisation abilities in process management to plan and prioritise work
  • Ability to work in partnership with respect, humility and integrity both internally and externally to Karitane
  • Current NSW driver's licence.
