As a Regulatory Analyst in this dynamic team you will play a key role in monitoring regulatory developments and providing insights to support our client's strategic initiatives in the rapidly evolving energy market.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitors and analyses regulatory developments, policy changes, and market trends impacting the new energy sector.
  • Assesses the potential impact of regulatory changes on our client's business operations, strategy, and investments.
  • Provides strategic advice and recommendations to internal stakeholders on regulatory compliance and risk management.
  • Collaborates with crossfunctional teams to develop regulatory strategies and responses to consultation papers and inquiries.
  • Engages with regulators, industry bodies, and government stakeholders to represent our client's interests and influence policy outcomes.
  • Supports the development of regulatory submissions, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conducts research and data analysis to identify opportunities and risks in the regulatory landscape.
  • Stays abreast of emerging technologies, business models, and market developments in the new energy sector.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of our client's regulatory strategy and advocacy efforts.
  • Participates in industry forums, working groups, and conferences to share insights and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in law, economics, business, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in regulatory analysis, preferably in the energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of energy market regulation, policy frameworks, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and problemsolving skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
