About the Role


As a Talent & Culture, Regulatory Governance Analyst in our Reward & Performance Team, you'll play a key role in helping to support the Regulatory Governance team manage a diverse range of priorities.

Your role will include data analysis, market research and intelligence and coordination support.

Your work will span several critical areas, including the collation and analysis of data for the Accountability and Consequence Framework and the Enterprise Accountability Group (chaired by CEO), generating reports and insights to address regulatory queries and requests, and supporting regulatory matters.

You will also prepare detailed data and insights for the annual Remuneration Report and executive and Board remuneration.

Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in delivering high-quality reports and insights that support our regulatory obligations and strategic initiatives.

What will your day look like?

As a Talent & Culture, Regulatory Governance Analyst your key responsibilities will include:
Coordination and support for executive performance and remuneration and the Accountability and Consequence Framework.

Coordination and support for the Enterprise Accountability Group (EAG) which is a quarterly governance forum chaired by the CEO that reviews material risk matters and accountability and recognises risk role models.

Coordination and support to manage T&C regulatory queries and matters including those relating to new APRA Prudential Standards.

T&C support for the People & Culture Committee (P&CC) and Board, including Non-Executive Director (NED) and executive performance and remuneration matters.

Preparation of regulatory performance, remuneration and consequence external disclosures including preparing data for ANZ's Annual Report Remuneration Report and Financial Note remuneration disclosures.

Analysis and support for global performance and remuneration and regulatory governance matters.
Analysis and change management for annual performance and remuneration framework compliance and policy reviews.
What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Advanced skills in Excel, and extensive Data analytics and insights experience

Comfort working through ambiguity, managing competing priorities & consulting with multiple stakeholders across T&C and with other Divisions including Risk, Finance, etc.

Knowledge of remuneration structures and approaches
Working knowledge of the regulations and laws impacting remuneration
Experience working in T&C or Risk
Knowledge of data presentation tools such as PowerBI
Ability to leverage available data to tell a story & develop insights into employee and business needs and behaviour, ensuring they are represented in the design of solutions
