About the role


This role leads and coordinates the effective and efficient delivery of a range of transactional human resource (HR) services in accordance with relevant legislative requirements, policies, procedures and guidelines.

Services include processing pay, leave, allowances, separations and recognition of service for permanent, temporary and casual employees.

The role ensures team and unit objectives are met and analyses processes and system outcomes to ensure compliance with industrial instruments and continuous improvement in service aligned to Departmental priorities and reform programs.


Essential requirements of the role

  • Expertise across a range of HR functions and an ability to resolve complex problems.
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or Business Administration or a relevant discipline, and/or demonstrated successful experience in stakeholder/customer engagement in a Shared Services/Contact Centre environment

Key knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
