Position Overview
The Area Supervisor is accountable to the NSW Network Manager and plays a crucial role in overseeing the operations of cleaning contractors. This ensures that TOMRA's assets in the field are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying operational deficiencies and collaborating with management to implement effective improvement strategies.
- Maintaining strong customer relationships with partners and addressing any operational or safety concerns at various sites.
- Conducting extensive travel throughout the region to manage contractor performance and landlord relationships.
- Overseeing the training of contractors and staff to meet cleanliness, safety, and productivity benchmarks.
- Utilizing people management and technology to drive performance and foster innovative solutions.
This is a full-time position (5 days per week), with a requirement to work one weekend day weekly.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Ensure kiosks are well-maintained and adhere to maintenance schedules.
- Analyze and enhance operational processes and best practices.
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to contractors and stakeholders.
- Optimize contractor operations to ensure clarity in duties and expectations.
- Regularly audit contractor performance and deliver constructive feedback to improve productivity.
- Prepare site evaluation reports to develop strategies for continuous improvement.
- Support cleaning and maintenance of TOMRA assets to uphold cleanliness and operational standards.
- Engage with site partners to foster positive relationships and outcomes.
- Assist management in evaluating potential new contractors.
- Address and resolve disputes from contractors, employees, and stakeholders, providing necessary reports to HR and management.
- Fulfill site operations responsibilities, including cleaning duties as outlined in the TOMRA Cleaning Guide.
