What you'll be doing
The Kids Cancer Centre (KCC) located at the Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick is one of the largest centres in Australia that researchers and treats childhood cancer under one roof. We are a large multi-disciplinary department within Sydney Children's Hospital with one goal – to find a cure for every child living with cancer in Australia.

The primary purpose of this role is to maintain the clinical trial data integrity, accuracy, completeness and compliance in accordance with regulatory requirements.

This role will work closely with other clinical research team members – to ensure that all aspects of the data management process are executed efficiently and accurately.

This position requires previous experience in clinical research data management and coordination. Clinical experience is not required.
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in clinical research and data management, ideally within a health-related field, or a combination of both.
  • Demonstrated high level competence in developing and managing multiple databases/systems to accurately log and manage clinical trial data.
  • Working knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and human research ethics principles and their application to the collection and analysis of data.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to build successful working relationships with all levels of staff, management and collaborators
  • Advanced organisational, and time management skills and ability to prioritise to manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision in a team and autonomously.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing data management improvement processes.
  • Highly proficient in computer and statistics programs including MS Office, with advanced MS Excel skills and
