- Salary: $104,838 - $123,873 per annum (plus 17% superannuation)

**About the Role**

The Research Fellow: Clinical Trials will undertake academic and industry-funded research activities as directed by senior staff within the Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics Research Group. The position will take responsibility for the coordination and management of clinical trials, including study preparation and conduct, data analysis and preparation of publications/reports.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Provide specialised expertise with respect to clinical trial conduct and reporting
- Undertake activities integral to clinical research conduct, including study design and protocol development, ethical and governance approvals, preparation and maintenance of study documentation, and data management
- Undertake the interrogation and analysis of clinical trial datasets to meet objectives of research projects
- Contribute to the production of a range of project reports for review by appropriate parties
- Prepare high quality reports and/or manuscripts of project findings, and manage the process of external review
- Communicate research findings at relevant national and international conferences, at industry forums and other universities, and with funding sponsors, including pharmaceutical industry

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- A PhD in pharmacology, pharmacy, pharmaceutical science, or related discipline
- Relevant experience in the conduct of clinical trials for pharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrated competency in management of clinical trial data, including electronic data capture and reporting in accordance with Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDSIC) standards
- Established track record in recording, analysing, presenting and disseminating research to stakeholders including the preparation of industry reports, high quality journal articles, and/or conference presentations, commensurate with opportunity
- Demonstrated experience working within the ethical, regulatory and governance requirements for the conduct of clinical trials
