Our Federal Government Client is seeking a User Interface (UI) Designer.


This is a long-term contract role of 12 months with a possible extension of 6 months, located at our client's office in ACT, NSW, or QLD.

The working arrangements are flexible, with at least 2 days in the office a week recommended.

  • Generate ideas and deliver userexperience design solutions that ensure a high quality of experience, consistency, and usability across multiple digital platforms and devices.
  • Design assets that support an endtoend product design process, such as wireframes, prototypes, site or journey maps, IA, cardsorting, expert reviews, etc., for testing with consumers and healthcare professionals for delivery to product and development teams.
  • Work in an agile environment with a view to deliver iteratively, efficiently, and with lean principles in mind. Participate in activities that support this, such as daily standups, retrospectives, and showcases.
  • Conduct and participate in usertesting and codesign practices.
  • Maintain and develop design systems, component libraries, and style guides for digital products.
  • Create amazing usercentered design solutions, as demonstrated by your portfolio of work.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in generating ideas and delivering user-experience design solutions.
  • Experience designing assets for an endtoend product design process.
  • Experience working in an agile environment.
  • Experience in conducting and participating in usertesting and codesign practices.
  • Experience in maintaining and developing design systems, component libraries, and style guides.
  • A portfolio of work demonstrating experience creating amazing User-Centred design solutions.
  • Good communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

It is desirable if you have:

  • Experience in using design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and/or Axure.
