What you will be doing
Reporting directly to the Manager, Digital and Online Communication, this role will be responsible for:

  • leading social media campaigns for election events, including the upcoming 2024 local council elections
- developing a social media strategy to safeguard the VEC's brand and reputation
- driving engagement with the VEC's social media channels
- leading 2 direct reports as part of the social media stream of the Communication Team.

What you will bring to the role
- significant experience in managing non-traditional media
- impeccable verbal and written communication skills
- demonstrated capability in managing, developing and leading team members
- commitment to the VEC's core vales.
