Youthworks is seeking a Bookings Administrator to join our Conference Centre team, based in the beautiful Royal National Park, just outside Sutherland.

This part time role will be to maintain efficient administrative processes in an effort to support the Bookings Team (and in turn the Conference Centre Division) as they work to maximise ministry and revenue.

Youthworks Conference Centres provide a place of temporary community for groups for relational and personal growth. We are intentional partners to schools, churches and like-minded community groups through networking, collaboration, and facilitation of Word ministry. We are providers of outstanding venues in amazing locations and Christian hospitality. We believe our interactions with our guests and each other are opportunities to promote and proclaim the gospel.

About the role:

hours per week across 4-5 days

- $24.75 per hour

Your responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction through prompt and courteous contact and follow up
  • Work closely with new and existing guests to determine their present and future needs/wants and propose suitable services to meet these utilizing the functions of the booking system and relevant procedures
  • Create, process and deliver invoices in consultation with relevant stakeholders
  • Answering the phone for Bookings Team, assisting to take enquiry requests and taking messages or transferring to other Youthworks Departments as necessary
  • Accurately maintain and keep up to date client records, and booking information on Booking System and Salesforce

You will need to demonstrate:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and to be flexible to reflect changes in priority
  • Welldeveloped in written and verbal communication skills with a focus on providing strong customer service
  • A strong work ethic
  • Ability to manipulate data for reporting purposes
  • A systematic and focused approach to tasks with a strong attention to detail
  • A willingness to work within an Anglican organisation

What we would really like you to have:

  • A personal Christian faith
  • Experience in using CRM systems
  • Experience in using accounting systems
  • Qualifications in Business Administration or like field

Additional information:


Current drivers licence and own transport is essential as there is no public transport anywhere near Port Hacking Conference Centres.
