With this fantastic opportunity, you will be a part of HR department and has responsibility for execution and administration of the company's Compensation & Benefits programs.

This includes, but is not limited to, benefits (including health & welfare, risk, retirement and savings plans, wellness), leaves/absence management and renumeration including base pay, long and short-term incentives, job evaluations and pricing, allowances, one-time payments, and recognition programs.


Responsibilities

  • Define a fair, equitable and competitive total renumeration and benefits package that fits and is aligned to the company's strategy and business goals
  • Develop a consistent compensation philosophy in line with work culture and organisational objectives
  • Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current legislation (pay equity, human rights, etc)
  • Use various methods and techniques and make data based decisions on direct financial, indirect financial and nonfinancial compensations
  • Assess employees needs by conducting organisational psychology surveys to find out what motivates and engages employees
  • Prepare job descriptions, job analysis, job evaluations and job classifications
  • Participate in salary and labour market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits
  • Differentiate pay systems to invest in the segments of workforce that contribute the most value
  • Deploy effective communication strategies and success metrics
  • Conduct ongoing research into emerging trends, issues and best practices
  • Conduct periodic audits and prepare reports
  • Respond to enquiries and questions related to renumeration & benefits from employees
  • Participate in regular meetings
  • Support mini projects related to renumeration and benefits if required
  • Handle any achoc duties and tasks assigned by managers

Desired Requirements and skills

  • Proven working experience as a Comp and Benefits, HR etc
  • Prior experience in HR practices and compensation cycle management
  • Working knowledge of job evaluation and job analysis systems
  • Previous experience with organisational psychology and labour market surveys
  • Adequate knowledge of current labour rules and regulations
  • Familiarity with various types of incentives and benefits
  • Experience with HR system (such as Workday
  • Training will be provided)
  • Excel (Intermediate to advanced level)
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • BS degree in human resources, business administration or similar

  • Must have full working rights in Australia
- flexible working arrangements are available with the expectation of 50:50 remote:office work

  • Full time temp via HOBAN Recruitment
  • 12 month and then potential to be ongoing/extend
  • Exposed to related experience for APAC and/or Japan is a super bonus
