Who We're Looking For

The Heavy Commercial Vehicle division sits within FleetPartners and incorporates sales, relationship and operational people. The focus of the division is growing the heavy commercial vehicle (3.5t GVM and above) and specialised light commercial vehicle markets.

There is a high degree of knowledge and experience in the division and it is important that all services delivered are delivered with chain of responsibility in the forefront of our minds. Compliance is considered critical.

What You'll Be Doing

Develop & Source Vehicle Specifications that are 'fit for purpose'
  • Conduct 'Needs analysis' with customers to understand in full their requirements
  • Develop functional specifications and complete weight distributions
  • Liaise with suppliers to develop technical specifications
  • Source and agree supplier pricing as required
  • Manage supplier agreements as required
  • Ensure technical specifications meet with regulatory and industry standards
  • Obtain client sign-off on all vehicle designs
  • Develop and monitor the 'Build Management' of Fleet Replacements
  • Complete all administrative tasks promptly

Develop and Monitor Vehicle Build Management Plans
  • Liaise with suppliers to develop build management schedules
  • Place orders with the order to delivery team or with suppliers when required
  • Administer build management plans within the database
  • Monitor the progress of vehicle builds to be delivered on-time
  • Coordinate in-build and new vehicle commissioning inspections with Field Operations Supervisors
  • Identify build issues and escalate or solve those problems to get the build back on-time
  • Complete all administrative tasks promptly

Provide Sales & Relationship Management Support
  • Raise and amend quotes as required
  • Follow-up quote's with clients as required
  • Make amendments to orders and quotes when needed
  • Complete analytical activities as requested from time-to-time
  • Monitoring the delivery of services to ensure they have been completed by other segments within the business
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers, Sales and Relationship Managers
  • Assist in the imminent expiry process as required
  • Identify and communicate End of Lease vehicles 6 months from expiry and communicate with Field Operations
  • Complete all administrative tasks promptly
