In this exciting role you will lead and develop a small support services team responsible for providing project management services to our signalling Engineering teams, enabling the successful delivery of capital projects and the broader operational and maintenance activities.


This team have a critical role in supporting the signalling works programs through full project lifecycles by providing safe and customer focused outcomes in project scheduling, cost management, document control and broader project administration.

Some of the day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Working with the signalling managers to achieve the delivery, safety, cost and quality outcomes to meet business needs.
  • Develop the signalling program of work, to understand the current and future signalling engineering role requirements.
  • Ensure deliverable milestones are on schedule and met.
  • Support the Manager Signal Design driving improvements in the team and how we engage with industry.
  • Develop, implement, monitor and report on the signalling program of works and document control.
  • Lead the management and delivery of the document control function.

To be considered, applicants will need to demonstrate the following:

  • High level of skills in coaching and development individuals and teams.
  • Proven skill in the delivery of programs of works in a commercially performing business.
  • Strong experience in program planning and managing of operational and capital scheduling for the team to ensure agreed milestones, performance indicators, monetary targets and service outcomes are achieved.
  • Ability to quickly build repour with business stakeholders and our Engineering teams.
  • Enthusiasm to solve problems.
  • High level of interpersonal, communication, planning and coordination skills.
