Queensland Rail is partnering with local and state agencies to deliver one of Queensland's largest rail construction projects to provide the best service to our customers.

QR are looking for a
Signalling Integration Coordinator to act as a lead facilitator on the QR Cross River Rail project.

The role will require you to ensure effective coordination between the QR Signalling Engineering team and Major Projects team to support Signalling deliverables and business readiness activities.

We are offering a 2 year fixed term Queensland Rail employment contract to support these key works.

Key position responsibilities:

  • Identify, consolidate and manage the integration of the Queensland Rail's signalling engineering deliverables and business readiness activities for the CRR major projects.
  • Manage and monitor stakeholder interfaces, critical paths and integration issues for Signalling Engineering deliverables and business readiness activities.
  • Coordinate input from technical resources within the various Signalling Engineering teams and Maintenance teams.
  • Modify and where required develop business processes and procedures and ensure these processes and procedures are being followed to support effective and efficient delivery of the agreed activities.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure sufficient engagement with the project.
  • Ensure all work undertaken by the major project, including that delivered by any contractors and subcontractors, is carried out.
  • Anticipate and escalate operational risks associated with the signalling engineering component of major Projects.

About you:

  • To succeed in this role demonstrated knowledge of Signalling Engineering as well as Signalling Systems would be advantageous.
  • High level of experience in planning, scheduling, integration and alignment of large multidisciplinary projects.
  • Experience within document review processes, resource planning and scheduling along with exposure to ProjectWise or other document control systems will also be favourable.
  • Whilst this position has no direct reports, previous people skills experience at a Coordinator or Manager level, would be ideal.
  • Strong communication skills to confidently facilitate presentations and meetings to ensure clear and concise deliverables are met.


Whilst this role is predominately office based there will also be opportunity for you to work onsite at times, in addition to this there may also be a requirement for you to be available for occasional on-call or onsite attendance if required to weekend track closures, associated with signalling engineering component of the projects.
