Endeavour Foundation champions the positive impact of recycling and reusing in the retail sector. We collaborate with local governments to manage Tip Shops and Recycle Markets. These establishments rescue high-quality items that would otherwise end up in landfills, and this is where you step in as our Re-use Shop Assistant you will:
- Deliver outstanding customer service to all visitors of the reuse shop.
- Follow authorized cash handling procedures and ensure all cash is deposited for banking accurately.
- Supervise the petty cash fund and maintain precise records.
- Price products according to established guidelines and organize stock and floor layout to optimize sales potential.
- Adhere to Workplace Health and Safety regulations.
- Operate with minimal supervision.
About you:
- Exceptional customer service skills and strong communication abilities.
- Passion for recycling and waste reduction initiatives.
- Availability to work a 7-day roster, including weekends.
- Strong time management capabilities.
- Physically fit to manage the demands of the role.
- Experience in assessing and valuing second-hand items.
- Driver's license and personal transport preferred due to limited public transportation.
